We prioritize the security and confidentiality of your personal data. We collect and process only the minimum amount of user information necessary to operate and improve our services.

• To enable core app features such as plant identification, health diagnosis, plant management, watering schedules, and light measurement;

Purpose of Data Processing

The information is used to deliver personalized ads that better match your interests.You may still see ads even if you opt out of personalized advertising; however, those ads may be less relevant.

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with:

We may request additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

Third-Party Services

To provide plant identification and care suggestions, we may send the selected plant photo to a trusted third-party service for processing. This is done solely to analyze the image and generate relevant plant care information.

Only the specific image you submit is sent.

We do not share any personal data or metadata.

The image is not stored or reused by the service provider.

App Permissions

We request access to certain features on your device to provide core app functionality. These permissions are used only to support plant care features and are never used for tracking or unrelated purposes.

Camera Access

Used to take photos of plants for identification and health checks, as well as to measure light levels if supported.

Photo Access

Allows users to select specific plant photos from their device to identify or manage them. The app only accesses images that the user explicitly selects.

Notifications

Used to send reminders for scheduled plant care tasks like watering, fertilizing, pruning, and repotting.

We do not access your location, contacts, or personal data.

Term for storing personal data

PlantHelper stores limited personal data for the whole period during which PlantHelper Service is used and for no longer than necessary and in no case more than 2 years after the last use of the App and/or the Service.

Other Terms

Changes to the Terms. We reserve the right to amend or update this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice. Any modifications will take effect immediately upon publication on this website, unless otherwise stated. We encourage all users to regularly review the Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. Your continued use of the PlantHelper app or website after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services. Our Services may contain links to or integrate third-party tools, including ad networks or analytics providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties and encourage users to review their respective policies.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law: This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Czech Republic.
